Application Process

• Here is where you go to make your Application with the Arkansas State Police for your NEW license.
• Take the class at Shoothouse USA
• Complete your online Application with the State Police. 
• Upon completion of application you will be provided with a Confirmation Number. You will take that number to a Fingerprint Harvester (covered in the class).
• Email Training Certificate to State Police

 What to Bring to Class:
** DO NOT BRING A LOADED FIREARM INTO THE RANGE. PLEASE HAVE YOUR UNLOADED FIREARM IN A CASE OR IN A BAG BEFORE ENTERING THE BUILDING. NO HOLSTERED FIREARMS **

• Valid Photo ID
• UNLOADED Semiautomatic Firearm (.22 cal or larger)
• Ammunition - 10 rounds per person
• Snacks or drinks are welcome in class. Tobacco is not.
• Hearing Protection provided if you do not have your own.
• Eye protection available for sale.

These are the general requirements to qualify for an AR Concealed Carry License

• Medical Marijuana User Card will prohibit you from being in possession of a firearm per Federal Statute.
• US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident
• Resident of AR for at least 90 days
• At least 21 years of age, 18 years old if Military
• Do not suffer from physical or mental infirmity that prevents safe gun operation
• Not threatened or attempted suicide
• Not convicted of felony (unless pardoned)
• Not subject to federal or state law making it unlawful for you to receive, possess, transport a gun
• Successful background check (FBI NICS & ASP)
• Do not chronically or habitually use controlled substance 
• Do not chronically or habitually use alcohol
• DO desire a legal means to carry concealed
• Not been adjudicated mentally incompetent
• Not been voluntarily or involuntarily committed to a mental institution or treatment facility
• Not a fugitive from justice, no active warrant
